DOESN'T HAVE TO BE
TIME FOR A CHANGE?
My career in numbers
A few of my campaigns
The Xuber Launch
Following the board agreeing to spend $25m on product development,
I was tasked with taking a brand new insurance software suite to market. We had less than $1m and only 3 months before launch. Shortlisted for 4 marketing awards and winning ‘Best use of Live Event Marketing’ The Xuber Launch is still talked about today in the London Insurance market as one of the most innovative product launches the industry has ever seen. 18 pieces of new collateral, first ever use in B2B of video brochures, 6 new videos, 200+ attendees to the official launch at Sushi Samba, 1 double decker bus, 1 show-stopping guerilla marketing campaign, 31 adverts – dominating Bank underground station, countless emails, PR mentions and analyst engagements, a new demo room, oh, and $39m of qualified pipeline within 6 weeks. What’s more, the Xuber business was only turning over $14m in 2012. When CSC acquired Xuber’s parent company (Xchanging) in 2016, Xuber represented $300m of the $550m deal.
Account Based Marketing Program for SITA
A premium direct mail campaign targetting 9 senior executives within SITA. The program included researching the targets then creating a highly personalised ‘travel pack’ for each prospect. Made to look like a travel case with an NIIT baggage tag on the front, the box included a personalised travel magazine, outlining the prospects’ challenges they are facing and how we can help overcome them. A Near Field Technology (NFT) tag was inserted in the cover of the magazine, which when scanned by a smartphone, led the recipient to a personalised landing page, 100% customised for them. I also used the research on their personal interests to select a book that I thought would be of interest to them to improve engagement. The campaign was complemented by an event at SITA’s offices where more than 200 employees attended.
The Art of Transformation for CSC
It’s not easy convincing risk averse insurers to embrace the idea of digital transformation. But with a cascade of bold colours and a fresh new approach ‘The Art of Transformation’ helped CSC perfectly position their new set of offerings following their acquisition of Xchanging Plc. Shortlisted for 4 B2B Marketing Awards, the Art of transformation was a 3 month campaign, encompassing email, direct mail, telemarketing, live event, guerilla marketing, outdoor media, social, PR, PPC, Analyst engagement, sponsored social, thought leadership and more…
“The best way to predict the future is to create it.” – Peter Drucker
From a standing start in 2011, I launched a blog on all things marketing. Within just 24 months I had received more than 1,400,000 views. All organic, no ad spend, just good content.
In addition, I have spoken at numerous Marketing conferences including Marketing Week Live, The Festival of Marketing, AdWeek Europe, The B2B Marketing Conference and will be speaking at InTech and The 2018 Sirius Decisions Summit in the next few months.
I am also very active on LinkedIn where I have more than 13,500 followers and am an active member of many marketing networking groups including the Business Marketing Club.
Below is a video of me talking at a Jellyfish conference on 'Spearheading Marketing Transformation'. To the right is a video of me talking to analyst firm IDG around marketing trends and the importance of data. And below that is a video from AdWeek Europe in which I participate on a panel with LinkedIn, Adobe and Microsoft, discussing B2B marketing trends.
